The management of LERSB takes responsibility for guaranteeing a continuous improvement of its performance in all HSE matters. This commitment is in the best interests of our customers, employees, contractors, our stakeholders, and the communities in which we work. The following objectives must apply to day-to-day activities and are achieved by:

ESTABLISH

• Establish HSE management systems to ensure that health and safety programs in all operating entities are managed effectively and meet company-wide goals for continual improvement.

COMPLIANCE

• Comply with the applicable national and international laws, rules, and regulations as well as the company’s policies related to HSE.

COMMUNICATION

• Communicate openly with all levels of staff and ensure an understanding of company HSE policies, standards, programs, and performance.

PROVIDE

• Keep all personnel informed of any known or potential hazards and threats that may affect themselves, their colleagues, the facilities, or the environment.

CONTINUE IMPROVEMENT

• Establish, maintain, and conduct regularly HSE-related drills, e.g., ERT, fire drills, etc.

ADHERENCE

• Ensuring adherence at all times to the documented safe operating procedures (SOPs) by a system of internal verification of audit procedures and activities.

REPORTING  

• Report immediately and analyze any incident or accident, in order to put in place relevant preventive and correctional actions and activities.
